Upcoming NCPA Items for Pharmacy Teams

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (May 1, 2024) - The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:

  • May 8 - NCPA CORE Leadership Program Open House, online. Scott Pace and NCPA's Drew Register will detail our new CORE leadership and business development program during this virtual forum. CORE isn't another "how-to" program; it's aiming to empower participants to achieve their full potential by developing skills in four essential domains: leadership, financials, operations, and marketing.   • May 16 - NASPA Pharmacy-Based Point-of-Care Test and Treat National Certificate Program, online. The 20-hour ACPE-accredited certificate program includes comprehensive material regarding key disease states, physical assessments, point-of-care tests, collaborative practice models, and business models.   • May 21 - The Anti-Monopoly Summit 2024 in Washington, D.C. NCPA is partnering with the American Economic Liberties Project and others to host a summit that will bring together the growing anti-monopoly movement to build power and engage with senior policymakers. Speakers will include Lina Khan, chair of the Federal Trade Commission, and Jonathan Kanter, assistant attorney general for the Department of Justice Antitrust Division. Learn more and register.
  • May 31 - Registration deadline for NCPA's CORE leadership and business development program. Aimed at anyone looking to expand their leadership skills and business acumen, CORE has been designed to improve confidence and experience in areas where pharmacy owners say they often feel least equipped.
