Reference is made to the stock exchange release published on 3 December 2021
regarding the sale of Oslo Areal and the release published on 6 January
regarding value appreciation to be included in the Q421 results. As mentioned in
the release of 3 December, Gjensidige Forsikring Group will receive proceeds of
approximately NOK 6.8 billion and will record a gain of approximately NOK 2
billion.

Based on new assessments, Gjensidige Forsikring Group will record a value
appreciation of NOK 1.2 billion on the property assets in the investment
portfolio for the fourth quarter of 2021. The value appreciation will be
included in the Group's financial result from the investment portfolio. The
remaining NOK 0.8 billion gain on the transaction, will be included in the
Group's first quarter 2022 results, as Other items.
