The National Park Foundation congratulates Shannon Estenoz on her nomination to become the next Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks.
Shannon's extraordinary commitment to protecting public lands and passion for conservation is unparalleled. She brings a wealth of experience spanning more than two decades, including serving as the Department of the Interior's Director of Everglades Restoration Initiatives and Director of the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force. Her deep expertise and energetic leadership will serve the Department of the Interior and the American people well at a critical time for our national parks and fish and wildlife resources.
