Hull&Proud Week 2019 kicks off tomorrow! 12 days of exciting events, with two huge Betfred Super League fixtures at the KCOM Stadium too. Let's see what's coming up in week one…
The club kick-off Hull&Proud Week tomorrow with hundreds of youngsters getting the chance to visit the club's Elite Performance Centre. The club's partner primary schools will take part in a huge Rugby League festival at the club's training ground, with each individual school getting the chance to be coached by a member of the first-team squad themselves.
The fun continues at the Elite Performance Centre on Tuesday where the Black & Whites will give every young rugby league player under the age of six the opportunity to play at the training ground in our Hull&Proud Week Primary Festival. Each player in attendance will receive an exclusive ticket offer for our 'BIG Night Out' fixture against london Broncos.
Meanwhile at Brough Gold Club, players and the club's corporate partners will come together for our annual Hull FC Golf Day. Sponsors and partners will team up with first-team players for a full 18-hole round, followed by a presentation dinner in the club house!
Members get their first chance to get involved with Hull&Proud Week on Wednesday, with a lucky select few earning the chance to take part in our Members Night. Fans will not only get an exclusive tour of the Elite Performance Centre, the club's main training facility, but also will have the chance to take part in a video review session with Hull FC head coach Lee Radford, just as he would with the players in the build-up to a match. There will also be the chance to quiz club Chief Executive James Clark on the club's off-field progress and plans.
Meanwhile on Thursday, some of the Hull FC Foundation's popular programmes will get a special Hull&Proud makeover. Jack Downs will take his 'Back Onside' on the road into work-places around the region, while Connor Bower will run a FIT4FC taster session at the Elite Performance Centre with the club's conditioning staff in attendance. There will also be the chance to join in our Touch Rugby League session, or try your hand at Wheelchair Rugby League for the first time at the Bonus Youth Performance Centre. The Black & Whites will then welcome St Helens to the KCOM Stadium, in a match that will celebrate the life and career of one of both club's all-time great full-backs, Steve Prescott MBE. Steve's family and members of the Steve Prescott Foundation will be in attendance at the match as Hull go up against the Betfred Super League leaders
As we hit the weekend, our annual Family Fun Day takes place on Saturday at Brantingham Park and features an exciting double-header of matches, as well as plenty of exciting activities for the full family. Gates open at 11am before Hull FC Ladies take on Oulton Raidettes (11.45am). Hull FC Reserves will then face Keighley Cougars Reserves (2pm)! The full first-team playing squad will be in attendance for a special meet and greet session. Entry is free for 2019 members by showing your card on the gate. Non-members will be charged £5 for adults, and £2 for juniors. For more information, click here.
Then on Sunday, Danny Washbrook's latest testimonial event will see stars of Rugby League's modern era unite to celebrate the utility man's ten-year anniversary with the club. Legends of the sport Sean Long and Paul Sculthorpe will feature in the game, alongside Lee Radford, Kirk Yeaman, Richard Horne, Feka Paleaasina, Ewan Dowes and Wayne Godwin, while other matches will include Hull FC Fans vs Hull KR Fans, and Life For A Kid vs Keith McNee Select. Gates open at 12.30pm, with adults charged at £3 and juniors £1.
