Airborne training session is being conducted with the marines of the Black Sea Fleet

More than 100 servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet marines perform parachute jumps during a practical airborne training session.

Servicemen make jumps from a Mi-8 helicopter in the daytime at permissible weather conditions from a height of up to 800 meters in full combat gear.

Also, servicemen are practicing techniques and improving skills for the landing of tactical airborne assault forces from a low-flying helicopter from a height of 2-3 meters.

In addition to the standard elements of the airborne training session, the units are trained in fulfilling the temporary standards for the collection of troops at the designated point after landing.
