Médio Tejo e Alentejo Litoral dispõem de 60 milhões para apoiar a diversificação económica e a criação de emprego

It totals 60 million euros and is intended to support economic diversification and job creation in the Médio Tejo (applications until 31 August) and in Alentejo Litoral (until 30 September). This support aims to offset the negative impacts of the transition process to a decarbonized economy, which led to the end of electricity production from coal at the Pego and Sines thermoelectric plants.

Projects with the following typologies are susceptible to support: creation of a new establishment; increasing the capacity of an existing establishment; diversifying an establishment's production to products not previously produced; and fundamental alteration of the overall production process of an existing establishment.
