JMSDF Harusame Visits Kochi

JMSDF Destroyer Harusame was on a goodwill visit to Kochi from 06 -07 November 2022. A welcome was accorded to the ship amidst fanfare by Indian Naval band. The ship commanded by Cdr Masayuki Ban is the second ship of Murasame class destroyers of the JMSDF. The ship is on her return passage to Japan from anti-piracy patrol at Gulf of Aden. During the stay at Kochi, cross training visits and professional interaction was undertaken. The current vist of JMSDF Harusame to Kochi has enhanced growing defence cooperation between the two Navies.
