Exploring the Palace Museum with persons with disabilities, promoting disability inclusion in cultural lives

A series of activities will be organized throughout the following months, which include guided tours and practical workshops to explore the history and making of the famous architecture and decorations inside the Palace Museum, and knowledge sharing sessions on culture heritages and accessibility for persons with disabilities.

2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. One special event will be dedicated to mark this important milestone at the Forbidden City, one of the most important cultural heritage sites and the most visited museums in China.
