Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Adi Hütter was visibly emotional after the Eagles sealed their place in the next round of the UEFA Europa League courtesy of a 3-2 win over Apollon Limassol - their fourth consecutive victory in Group H.
Adi Hütter: 'We really wanted to make the most of our opportunity [to reach the last 32] and we managed to do that. We've collected 12 points from four games in a difficult group and are in the next round - that's fantastic. I'm obviously not particularly happy with the last 25 minutes. Apollon gave everything until the bitter end and showed great character. They deserve credit for that. The main thing is that we won. Our fans have travelled great distances to watch us achieve what we have. I'm feeling more and more settled in Frankfurt and get the impression that the fans are starting to appreciate me more and more. That's why I went to the away end to thank the supporters [after the match]. It was an unbelievable moment.'
Danny Da Costa: 'We did reasonably well until we scored the first goal, but after that we lost control and started giving sloppy balls away. We regained control after our second and third goals. We're happy to have qualified, even if we lost our concentration at the end. We're looking forward to the Round of 32 and the game against Schalke on Sunday.'
Gelson Fernandes: 'You have to enjoy what we're doing as a club at the moment, but we obviously need to keep going. We didn't start particularly well today but we have a good squad, a good bunch of lads. It's not always easy having two games in a week. We need to recover properly - we're not as fresh as we were a few weeks ago. We're playing a really strong opponent on Sunday.'
