MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Eastbound U.S. 60 Lane Closures at Kastendieck/Aster Road and County Road 1247

Between Marionville & Billings Beginning Monday, May 6

Where: Eastbound U.S. Route 60 Lane Closures between Marionville & Billings for night paving at:

• Kastendieck Road/Aster Road
• County Road 1247

When: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. Beginning Monday, May 6

What: Contractor crews to pave Route 60 to widen the road for new turn lanes at both directions. Work is part of the Resurfacing Project on U.S. Route 60 and Railroad Crossing Improvements along U.S. Route 60 in Christian, Greene & Lawrence Counties.

Traffic Impacts:

• Eastbound U.S. Route 60 Lane Closures between Marionville & Billings for night paving at:
• • Kastendieck Road/Aster Road
  • County Road 1247
• Drivers on Route 60 will encounter flaggers and pilot cars directing them through the work zone. Drivers should wait for the pilot vehicle before proceeding through the work zones or before entering the work zones from a side road.
• Route 60 OPEN in both directions
• Vermuel Road CLOSED between Missouri Route 14 and Lambeth Road
• Aloe Road CLOSED west of U.S. Route 60
• County Road 1247 CLOSED between Route 60 and County Road 2185/Barnett Road
• Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
