Netflix announced today the release ofSantoforSeptember 16, the first Spanish fiction filmed between Spain and Brazil, produced by Nostromo Pictures for Netflix.

Created by Carlos López(Hache, El príncipe, La embajada) and directed by Vicente Amorim(A Divisão, Romance Policial: Espinosa, Copa Hotel), Santois a thrilling police series, a thriller of action and intrigue that at times comes close to horror. It tells the story of Santo, a drug trafficker whose face has never been revealed. Two cops who are after him, Cardona (Bruno Gagliasso) and Millán (Raúl Arévalo), radically opposed, will have to learn to work together to solve the case and keep their lives safe.

StarringRaúl Arévalo(Antidisturbios, The Fury of a Patient Man, Black Beach) and Bruno Gagliasso(O Sétimo Guardião, Rising Sun, Ambitious Women). Victoria Guerra(Auga seca, 3 mulheres), Greta Fernández(Elisa & Marcela, A Thief's Daughter), Luiz Felipe Lucas(Jailers, Confissões Médicas) and María Vázquez(Eye for an Eye, María y los demás) complete the cast.
