One of the leading groups of cargo carriers continues planning its flights with Lido Flight 4D and the comprehensive Lido Sky Data product in ARINC 424 format.

Lufthansa Systems announced that Volga-Dnepr Group has signed an agreement extending the use of its Lido Flight 4D flight planning solution and the comprehensive Lido Sky Data product in ARINC 424 format, for five years. One of the leading groups of cargo carriers for scheduled and charter operations, including for unique oversized and super heavy cargoes, will continue to use the reliable and accurate flight planning solution to achieve maximum operational efficiency, safety, and stability.

Over 25% of aircraft worldwide operate with Lido Flight 4D, one of the most efficient and reliable flight planning solutions available. The solution supports dispatchers in evaluating the optimal route while taking current flight-related data into account. It enables airlines to optimize their flying time, costs, and fuel consumption, resulting in up to 5% fuel savings. The integration of the solution into Lufthansa Systems' cloud delivery platform Global Aviation Cloud meets airlines' needs and security standards.

Lido Sky Data includes worldwide standardized navigation information, such as airports, heliports, runways, waypoints, navaids, airspaces, airways and flight procedures. The data is in line with ARINC 424 and various other industry standards, such as the RTCA DO-200 and DO-201. It is updated according to the Aeronautical Information Regulation And Control (AIRAC) 28-day cycle.
