Profiles in Diversity Journal Honors Sabina Comis as Woman Worth Watching in Leadership
Paris-based Dechert LLP tax partner Sabina Comis has been named to Profiles in Diversity Journal's "Women Worth Watching in Leadership" list for 2021. The series profiles women leaders who have made significant contributions to their respective organizations and industries.
Ms. Comis, who was recently appointed to Dechert's global Policy Committee and to the three-person management committee that oversees the firm's Paris office, advises French and international companies, family offices, and private equity funds on domestic and international tax structuring that arises from complex corporate transactions, restructurings and refinancings, often involving multiple sponsors. She is one of the few French practitioners able to offer sophisticated tax advice and handle the legal and regulatory side of fund formation.
Ms. Comis was recently named a Law360 "MVP of the Year" for Tax and recognized as "Tax Lawyer of the Year" in the Euromoney / Legal Media Group's European Women in Business Law Awards 2021. She has long been ranked as a "Leading Individual" in Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 EMEA.
