Eligo Energy aggregation program update

A number of Village residents and small businesses will be receiving notice from ComEd and/or Eligo Energy that their electric supplier may be changing from Eligo to ComEd (or from ComEd to Eligo). This is the annual "refresh" allowed by the Village's electric aggregation agreement with Eligo. There will be NO IMPACT to electric rates as a result of these changes - all residents and small businesses in the program pay the same rate, whether the supplier is ComEd or Eligo. Bills will continue to be delivered by ComEd as normal.

Eligo is the third-party electricity supplier for the Village's Renewable Energy Aggregation Program, which was enacted in 2020. The Village receives Renewable Energy Certificates representing consumption of 50% Green Energy for your power use. Whether served by ComEd or Eligo, the net effect (pricing and green energy) is identical for all.
