Lane Closures on State Routes 120 And 49

Tuolumne County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) and State Route 49 (SR-49). Work is Scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 120

• One-way traffic control on SR-120 between Sweetwater Campground and Sawmill Mountain Road, east of Groveland, for slope repair beginning Monday, April 22 through Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 26, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

• Moving lane closures on west and eastbound SR-120 from Old Highway 120 to Sweetwater Campground for a sweeping operation beginning Monday, April 22 through Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 49

• Overnight one-way traffic control on SR-49 between Smoke Street and Main Street in Jamestown for utility work beginning Sunday, April 21 through Friday, April 26, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
