Two Plattsburgh males arrested stemming from an assault incident

On April 19, 2024, State Police members arrested Kevin J. Sykes, age 39, and Antoine Young, age 44 both of Plattsburgh, NY for Assault 3rd.

On April 11, 2024, Troopers responded to Plaza Boulevard, in the town of Plattsburgh for an assault complaint. An investigation determined Sykes and Young arrived in the parking lot of Plaza Boulevard and started a verbal altercation with the victim, which turned physical when both started striking the victim in the face multiple times. Sykes and Young fled the scene before law enforcement's arrival.

On April 19, 2024, Troopers located Sykes, he was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. Young later arrived at SP Plattsburgh, where he was arrested and processed. Sykes and Young were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Plattsburgh Court for a later date in May.
