BISMARCK, N.D. - This month, Sanford will begin construction on a new Sanford Cancer Center. Located on the fourth floor of Sanford Downtown Rosser Clinic across from Sanford Medical Center, the new 14,000 square foot facility will bring cancer care, infusion and hematology services together in one convenient location to better serve patients.

The Sanford Cancer Center will include 18 exam rooms, an infusion pharmacy, a specialty boutique and 25 private, semi-private and open infusion bays.

"Moving our oncology and infusion services into one convenient location allows us to have an entire floor dedicated to serving our patients in an atmosphere that is modern and convenient with the latest technologies and treatments," said Mike Salwei, executive director of medical oncology services for the Bismarck region of Sanford Health. "The Sanford Cancer Center is a part of our $200 million plus investment to enhance health care in central and western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota."

The Sanford Cancer Center is expected to be completed by late fall 2022.
