Servicemen from the 12th Main Department of the Russian Ministry of Defence enter the Russian national team of the Military Medical Relay Race competition

All-Russian stage of the Military Medical Relay Race competition ended in Leningrad region as part of the International Army Games 2022. Teams from the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence, the Kirov Military Medical Academy, the Western Military District and the DOSAAF competed at a training ground near St. Petersburg.

During the military medical competition, military medics from the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence demonstrated high skills in handling firearms and overcoming obstacle courses. The focus was on first aid, where participants had to quickly stop the bleeding of a simulated wounded soldier and carry him out of the battlefield using special equipment.

Military medics from the Main Directorate also used military equipment to search for and transport the injured as part of the teams. The time taken to find an impending injured was taken into account, as well as the medical vehicle's off-road driving and first aid skills.

The International Military Medical Combat Competition will be held in August in the Leningrad region.
