The crews of multi-purpose maneuverable 4++ generation Su-35S fighters, Ka-52 Alligator and Mi-8 helicopters took part in a joint Russian-Serbian tactical exercise with live-fire drills at the Kirillovsky training ground in the Leningrad region.
Su-35S pilots flew into a given square, and also practiced targeted bombing at targets simulating engineering fortifications, command posts, enemy manpower and armored vehicles.
The crews of Mi-8 helicopters completed the landing of a group under the cover of reconnaissance and attack helicopters K-52, which destroyed units of the mock enemy.
The exercise is attended by the servicemen of the battalion of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia, units of the Krasnoselsk motorized rifle brigade, army aviation brigade, and engineering regiment were involved from the troops of the Western Military District. In total, more than 1,000 servicemen and about 200 pieces of military and special hardware.
