The Baltic Fleet marine corps team completed an intensive training course for the Seaborne Assault competition within the framework of the Games-2021 and departed for Vladivostok to participate in the all-army competition.
The marines spent the final stage of training for a month at the Khmelevka training ground in the Kaliningrad region, where they had a training complex at their disposal, which includes the entire set of obstacles provided for in the competition program. In particular, the servicemen overcame the scout lane, the survival path, improved their weapons skills, practiced driving BTR-82A armored personnel carriers with overcoming various obstacles - a track bridge, a ditch, etc.
In total, more than 40 military personnel took part in the preparatory activities, and about 10 units of military equipment were involved.
The all-army competition for professional training among marine units Seaborne Assault will be held within the framework of the Army International Games-2021 at the Pacific Fleet training grounds Gornostay and Bamburovo in the first decade of June.
