Porta Futuro in Bari

Bari is one of the cities participating in the Ambizione Italia for Youth Programme promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Microsoft Italia to strengthen active labour policy during the health emergency.

Porta Futuro users, especially young and fragile workers, will be able to participate in free training courses to develop the digital skills that are necessary to access the labour market and improve their professional profiles.

The programme is organised for three different user levels to provide each with their needs, bridge gaps and reinforce capabilities. The project employs custom-tailored lifelong learning to address the sudden changes undergone by the labour market and provide everyone with professional updating and requalification opportunities.

Porta Futuro users can participate for free in one or more of the on-line courses.

• Basic Digital Literacy Course
  The course was conceived for users with little schooling and who wish to acquire the minimum skills necessary to exploit the potential of the web. The course will address on-line navigation, digital payments and citizenship services, compilation and submission of on-line forms, job search portals, etc.
• Intermediate Course for Job Search
  The course was conceived for users who already know how to use digital tools but need to improve their digital skills for professional job searches on the web and social media.
• Advanced Course for Jobs of the Future
  The course was conceived for users who are currently unemployed or undecided about their careers. It will address the new professions introduced by technological innovation and artificial intelligence, including gaming and AI, coding languages, web design, data engineering, etc.

• May 20, 11:30-1:00, intermediate digital marketing course with Astrid d'Eredità
• May 21, 9:30-11:00, advanced web design course with Fabrizio Jimenez and Mohamed Fadiga
