APD Investigating Failure to Stop and Render Aid Fatality Crash in the 12200 block of S IH 35 Service Road

Deceased: Stanley Frank Curran, White male, born March 22, 1945
The Austin Police Department (APD) has Stanley Frank Curran as the deceased pedestrian in the fail to stop and render aid traffic fatality on June 20, 2021.
Officers responded at approximately 7:18 a.m. to an auto-pedestrian crash in the 12200 block of the S IH 35 Service Rd. Mr. Curran was discovered by a security guard doing his morning rounds of the property. Mr. Curran appeared to have been struck by an unknown vehicle at an unknown time. The driver that struck Mr. Curran did not remain on scene. Mr. Curran was pronounced deceased at 7:26 a.m.
Vehicle debris located on scene and believed to belong to the suspect vehicle appear to be from a 2019-2021 silver Toyota Corolla. The suspect vehicle should have significant front-end damage.
