PGS' new GeoStreamer PURE dataset for Browse Basin will support evaluations for the 2022 Australian license round, permitting confident correlation of prospects in the available licenses into discovered fields. Delineation of the abundant prospectivity will support infrastructure lead exploration (ILX).
The Browse Basin dataset covers the 2022 Australian offshore acreage release blocks in the Caswell sub-basin. This prolific basin is a production hub for the Ichthys field and there are numerous giant gas discoveries all within tie-back distance. Opportunities for farm-in exists, as well as new production licenses.
