East Midlands Railway Conductors strike solid once more

RMT East Midlands senior conductors stand solid on twelfth week of action in fight for workplace justice

RAIL UNION RMT said today that Senior Conductor members on East Midlands Railway are standing rock solid again this morning in what is their twelth consecutive weekend of action in a fight for workplace justice over pay, conditions and contract issues.

General Secretary Mick Lynch said;

'I want to pay tribute to our members on East Midlands Railway who have stood rock solid and united in their action for three months now in a fight for workplace justice over pay, conditions and contract issues.

'It's time for the company to stop playing games and start respecting the staff who generate their profits.

'EMR should get out of their bunker, recognise the legitimate grievances of their workforce and start negotiations over a fair and just settlement to this long-running dispute. '
