Annapolis NAM to Host Community Health Fair on Sat., May 21 at Pip Moyer Rec Center

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND(May 16, 2022): The City of Annapolis will host a Community Health and Wellness Resource Fair from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sat., May 21 at the Pip Moyer Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis. The event is free and open to the public.

The health fair is organized by the Naptown Anti Dope Movemeant and participants will include the Annapolis Police Department, Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Anne Arundel County Public Library, REACH, UNEO, Donna's Day of Hope & Giving, We Care and Friends, State Farm Insurance, Serenity Sisters, and more.

At the event, attendees can get information and free merchandise on issues including: nutrition, mental health, overdose prevention, youth engagement camps and activities, exercise, literacy, and more. Refreshments will be provided and 410Fitness will sponsor a push-up contest with gift card giveaways for the winners.

"We all need to take care of our health and wellness," said Mayor Gavin Buckley. "Strong minds and strong bodies can serve us in our youth, middle age and senior years. I encourage everyone to come out to this free event and please, take care of yourselves!"

Additional vendors and supporters of the resource fair include Positive Impact Program, First Baptist Church, Anne Arundel Literacy Council, Office of Community Services, Germantown Elementary School, and more.
