The Village of Niles government access channel ('NTV') is experiencing technical difficulties, and programming is currently unavailable. Viewers tuning in on Comcast channel 6 or AT&T U-verse channel 99 will see a 'technical difficulties' message. Residents tuning in to the online live stream of Niles TV will encounter an error message.
The Village's full library of video programming is still available for on-demand playback at vniles.com/ntv. The Village does still have the ability to post text announcements on Comcast channel 6 and AT&T U-verse channel 99 in case of an emergency, and live broadcasts of Village Board Meetings will still occur.
Village staff are working to restore NTV to normal operation, and will provide updates on the Village website as more information becomes available. However, there is currently no estimate for when service will resume.
