Nashville Connector to Celebrate Transit Month with “Ticket to Ride” Event

Who: Nashville Connector, Transit Now Nashville, WeGo Public Transit, Young Professionals in Transportation Nashville, Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee, Network for Sustainable Solutions, Walk Bike Nashville, Urban League of Middle Tennessee, Moving Forward Middle Tennessee, Nashville Civic Design Center, Commute with Enterprise, The Connect Middle Tennessee Coalition

What: 10th Annual Ticket to Ride WeGo Star train ride from Riverfront Station in Downtown Nashville to the Donelson Station, including refreshments, speakers, and prizes.

Attendees will be able to visit booths hosted by event partners, network, and hear from leaders from across the city's transportation industry. Pre-registration is required.

When: April 26, 2024 at 4 p.m.

Where: Event will begin at Riverfront Station (101 1st Ave South, Nashville, TN)

Why: To celebrate transit month and promote all of the great transit and transportation options for getting around Nashville. Transit Now Nashville started Transit Week in 2013 with a proclamation from Mayor Karl Dean. This grew into Transit Month in 2016, and the tradition continues this year, including Transit Month's flagship event: Ticket to Ride, a WeGo Star passenger rail excursion to Donelson.
