AHN Saint Vincent Hosts Project Search Graduation

AHN Saint Vincent held a graduation ceremony on May 24 for students who were involved in the 2021-2022 Project Search program. Project Search provides education and training to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Saint Vincent is one of the Erie employers involved with the program, which is overseen locally by the Erie School District, Barber National Institute, Erie County Department of Human Services and Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. Students involved in Project Search hold off their high school graduation for a year while students participate in a year-long internship, rotating among several different departments at the hospital. Several students are slated to get jobs at AHN Saint Vincent.
