ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Khorat Inc. supports prevention and control program of COVID-19 to Kudnamsai Municipality, Khon Kaen

EMEPKI Production Superintendent Monchai Thongmesri (2nd from left) and EMEPKI Operation Supports and Safety Officer Veera Phuphen (1st from left) presented the supporting funds of 50,000 Baht to Wiratana Yensabai (3rd from right), mayor of Kudnamsai Sub-district Municipality. Also joining at the event included Cherdchai Khoyoon (2nd from right), municipal chief of Kudnamsai Sub-district Municipality and Worapoj Intarachote (1st from right), advisor to mayor of Kudnamsai Sub-district Municipality.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and continued cases in Khon Kaen province, EMEPKI has joined in support to Kudnamsai Municipality for the pandemic battling. The prevention and control program includes community Isolation arrangement to accommodate asymptomatic cases waiting for hospital treatment and ATK checking of those who travel from dark red and risky zone provinces to prevent potential spread of the disease.

EMEPKI operates the Nam Phong Natural Gas Production Plant, located at Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen province. The natural gas from EMEPKI is delivered to Thailand operators in generating electricity for use throughout the Northeastern area in Thailand.
