Vladimir Kolokoltsev signed an order on awarding Ossetian police officer with MIA Medal “For Courage for the Sake of Salvation”

'Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, General of the Police of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev, awarded Police Major Igor Razumov with the medal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia 'For the courage for the sake of salvation,' said the MIA official representative Irina Volk.

While on vacation on the shore of the Caspian Sea, Igor Razumov noticed a child who swam to a deep place and began to sink. Without hesitation, the policeman rushed to the rescue. He managed to find the child in the water depth, pulled him to the shore and provided first aid to the boy,' said Irina Volk.

The mother of the rescued boy Natalia Kairova expressed her warmest words of gratitude to the hero. 'Your deed is invaluable. It deserves the highest evaluation of the best human qualities - courage, dedication and humanity,' she said.

As for Igor Razumov himself, he believes that anyone would do the same in his place. The eleven-year-old boy, on the advice of the police major, got enrolled in the swimming section. The Razumovs and Popovs families are now friends.
