At Ashuluk training ground, a joint Russian-Serbian air defenсe combat crew successfully repels massive missile and air strike as part of Slavic Shield 2019 exercise

The units of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces and Air Force of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia during the joint exercise were alerted 7 times for the detection and tracking of air targets.

In total, as part of the tasks to cover the position areas and repel massive missile and air strikes, more than 50 air targets were detected, classified as mock enemy aircraft.

Electronic launches of anti-aircraft missiles and guided missile were made at intruders.

Crews of radar systems and stations, involved in joint Russian-Serbian exercise and deployed in missile-hazardous areas, continue to carry out round-the-clock combat duty on air defence.
