For the Week of October 7

ASHLAND COUNTYState Route 58
SR 58, from US 250 to the Lorain County line, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing and bridge repair project. Flaggers will be used, allowing one lane of traffic at a time through the work zone. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
State Route 58: Railroad Repairs ***NEW***
SR 58, just north of Sullivan Twp. Rd. 212, will close Thursday, October 10 for railroad crossing repairs. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 58 to US 224, east on US 224 to SR 301, north on SR 301 to SR 162, west on SR 162 to SR 58, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Saturday, October 19, 2019.
State Route 60
SR 60, between McKinley Blvd. and Lauretta Ave., will have intermittent single lane closures as needed to complete structure work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
State Route 97
SR 97, between the Richland/Ashland County line and SR 3, will have intermittent lane closures as crews complete miscellaneous work (intersections, striping, castings, RPMs, etc.). Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The entire project is expected to be complete October 2019.
State Route 179
SR 179 in Mohicanville, just south of Twp. Rd. 2252, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 179 to SR 95, southwest on SR 95 to SR 60, north on SR 60 to SR 179, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Monday, December 2, 2019.
US Route 250 ***NEW***
US 250, from George Rd. to the Wayne County line, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for crack sealing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.

CRAWFORD COUNTY
State Route 4
SR 4 in the City of Bucyrus, from Perry St. to Quaker Rd., will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Side streets will have one lane closures as needed for intersection realignment and catch basin relocation. There is a 'No Parking' restriction on SR 4 from Plymouth St. to Melcher Blvd. throughout the project.Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times in the four-lane section from Perry St. to US 30. In the two-lane sections, traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete May 2020.
State Route 4
SR 4, from SR 19/100 intersection to the Crawford/Seneca County line, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction with periodic flagging operations as needed. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
US Route 30
US 30, between Lower Leesville Rd. and Old Lincoln Hwy., have the right lanes eastbound and westbound closed to traffic for a resurfacing project. Crews are paving SR 98 from the SR 98/US 30 interchange to Beechgrove Rd. Traffic on SR 98 will be maintained by flaggers.Work zone speed limits are in effect. The speed limit when workers are present is 55 mph, and 65 mph when workers are not present.The entire project is expected to be complete October 2019.

ERIE COUNTY
State Route 60
SR 60, at the overheard bridges of the Ohio Turnpike, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 60 to SR 113, west on SR 113 to SR 61, north on SR 61 to SR 2, east on SR 2 to SR 60, and reverse for southbound motorists. HURON COUNTY
US Route 20: Slide Repair
US 20 eastbound, just east of the US 250 exit ramp on the Norwalk Bypass, will have a single lane closure for slide repair work. Crews will begin construction for the retaining wall along US 20. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
US Route 20: Resurfacing
US 20, west of the Village of Wakeman to the Lorain Co. line, will intermittent lane closures for a resurfacing project and structure repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
US Route 20: Bridge Repair
US 20 in the Village of Wakeman, at the structure over the Vermilion River, will have reduced lane widths and traffic shifted to complete bridge repair work. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
US Route 224
US 224 in the Village of Greenwich, between Park Dr. and Orchard St., is closed for a bridge repair project. The detour route for eastbound motorists is US 224 to SR 61, north on SR 61 to SR 162, east on SR 162 to SR 13, south on SR 13 to US 224, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to be reopened Friday, November 8, 2019.

LORAIN COUNTY
US Route 6: Bridge Repairs
US 6, between Washington Ave. and Arizona Ave., will be reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge repairs on the Charles Berry Bascule Bridge. The westbound lanes and south sidewalk are closed. Traffic will be maintained in the eastbound lanes and pedestrian traffic will be maintained on the north sidewalk. Intermittent bridge lifts are scheduled as crews complete bridge work. The openings should not be any longer than those normally utilized to allow passage of a vessel. A sidewalk detour is posted for pedestrians. State Route 18
SR 18, from the Huron County Line to the Medina County line, will have intermittent lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019; however, all work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
US Route 20: Major Widening ***UPDATE***
US 20, between Stoney Ridge Rd. and Lear Nagle Rd., will have one lane of traffic maintained in each direction. Root Rd. is now open to southbound traffic only. Paving operations continue on Center Ridge Rd. During paving operations driveway accesses will have temporary closures and/or delays. Crews are also striping the north and southbound lanes of Lear Nagle. Please be advised, there may be traffic delays in the area as crews complete work along the project corridor. Wallace Ave. will close Thursday, October 10 for 30 days to complete the total reconstruction of the intersection and is being closed per plan. The footer on the north side of the Root Rd. bridge has been poured and crews will begin work on the south side bridge footer. Lanes widths throughout the project will be reduced to 10 ft. Three lanes of traffic will be maintained; one eastbound lane, one westbound lane and a center turn lane. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing by the work zone. Pedestrians and bicyclists should use extreme caution while traveling through the work zone and stay out of the active work area to avoid conflicts with construction vehicles and equipment. The project is expected to be complete in the 2020 construction season. However, all work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
US Route 20: Roadway Improvement
US 20, from SR 301 to Case Rd., will have intermittent lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained at all times; temporary work zones will be utilized when necessary. The project is expected to be complete April 2020.
US Route 20: Bridge Replacement
US 20 over Ridgeway Ditch, between Case Rd. and Fowlers Run, will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for a bridge replacement project. The project is expected to be complete May 2020.
State Route 58
SR 58, from the City of Oberlin's northern corporation limit to just south of SR 113, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.
State Route 82
SR 82, from SR 57 to Hawke Rd., will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.
Interstate 90: Reactive Maintenance
I-90, between Murry Ridge Rd. and SR 611, will have nightly lane closures from 7:00pm-6:00am for pavement repairs. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
Interstate 90: Bridge Replacement
I-90 westbound, at the I-90 structure over the SR 2 split, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a bridge replacement project. SR 2 eastbound is maintained with two lanes of traffic. Traffic will be maintained using a concrete barrier divide. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
Interstate 90/State Route 83: Minor Widening
I-90, at the SR 83 exit ramps and Chester Road, will have intermittent lane closures for installation of new traffic signals and highway lighting. Crews are working on sidewalk installations, final striping and miscellaneous punch list items. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. SR 83 exit ramps and I-90 traffic will be maintained at all times. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
State Route 113
SR 113, from W. Ridge Rd. to SR 57, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. This project runs through the City of Elyria. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
State Route 254
SR 254, from West River Road to the City of Avon Corporation Limit, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. This project is located in the Village of Sheffield. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers and all work will be performed at night between the hours of 8pm and 7am. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.

State Route 301: Pavement Project
SR 301 (Abbe Rd.), south of US 6, is closed for a pavement replacement project. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 301 to SR 611, east on SR 611 to I-90, east on I-90 to SR 83, north on SR 83 to US 6, west on US 6 to SR 301, and reverse for southbound motorists. The entire project is expected to be complete May 2020.
State Route 301: Sewer InstallationSR 301, between Hilliard Rd. and Whitman Blvd., is closed for an open trenching sewer installation. The detour for southbound motorists is SR 301 to SR 254, west on SR 254 to SR 57, south on SR 57 back to SR 301, and reverse for northbound motorists. Weather permitting, the closure is expected to last 90 days. This closure is a part of the City of Elyria's Abby Rd. project. State Route 301: Resurfacing Project
SR 301, from SR 254 to SR 611, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. This project is located in the Village of Sheffield. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.
State Route 511
SR 511, between the Ashland County line and SR 162, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 511 to US 224, east on US 224 to SR 58, north on SR 58 to SR 162, west on SR 162 to SR 511, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
State Route 611
SR 611, from SR 301 to the City of Lorain Corporation Limit, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. This project is located in the Village of Sheffield. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.

MEDINA COUNTY
North Carpenter Road
North Carpenter Rd., from Concord Dr. to Boston Rd., will have single lane closures throughout the project. North Carpenter Rd. northbound, between Grafton Rd. and Valley Forge Dr., is now closed. Crews are installing a water quality structure on the east side of N. Carpenter, between Marpat and Mueller Creek. Work on various drainage items and waterline work also continues. Concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons are being installed at various locations along the project limits. The detour route for northbound motorists is to go east on SR 303 to W. 130th St., north on W. 130th St. to Grafton Rd., west on Grafton Rd. to North Carpenter Rd., and reverse for southbound motorists. ALL northbound traffic will be detoured. Southbound traffic will be maintained for local traffic ONLY. This phase of the project is expected to be complete in 120 days. Detour routes are posted. State Route 3
SR 3, from the City of Medina northern corporation limits to Fenn Rd. and from Odessa Dr. to the Cuyahoga County line, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project.Night work will take place from the City of Medina limits to Fenn Rd. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.
Interstate 71
I-71, between SR 162 and SR 18, will have intermittent single lane closures for bridge repairs. Crews will be working along the should and will utilize single lane closures when necessary. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
Interstate 76
I-76 eastbound and westbound, from Lake Rd. to the SR 57 ramps, will have intermittent closures as crews complete resurfacing work.There will be nightly lane closures on I-76 for milling and paving in both directions. During nighttime work, traffic will be reduced to one lane of traffic. By 7:00am two lanes of traffic will be open. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.

State Route 94
SR 94/SR 303, just east of SR 606 over the Rocky River, is closed for a bridge replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR94/SR 303 to SR 3, north on SR 3 to SR 82, east on SR 82 to SR 94, south on SR 94 to SR 94/SR 303, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
US Route 224: RCUT
US 224, at the intersection with Westfield Center Rd., will have single lane closures in each direction for the construction of an R-Cut. Westfield Rd, at its intersection with US 224, is closed due to the RCUT construction along US 224. The detour route for southbound motoristsis Westfield Rd. to Kennard Rd., east on Kennard Rd. to Lake Rd., south on Lake Rd. to Greenwich Rd., and west on Greenwich Rd. back to Westfield Rd. southbound. The detour route for northbound motoristsis Westfield Rd. to Greenwich Rd., east on Greenwich Rd. to Lake Rd., north on Lake Rd. to US 224, and west on US 224 to Westfield Rd. northbound. The intersection is expected to reopen Thursday, October 31, 2019. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert and reduce their speed while passing by the work zone. The entire project is expected to be complete May 2020.
State Route 252
SR 252, from just north of SR 57 to the Lorain County line, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by falggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.

RICHLAND COUNTY
US Route 30: Resurfacing Project ***UPDATE***
US 30, from just west of the Lexington/Springmill interchange to the SR 309 interchange, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. The I-71 southbound ramp to US 30 westbound will close Tuesday, October 8 in order to complete high friction surface course. This is a single day closure. The detour route for southbound motorists is I-71 southbound to the US 30 eastbound exit (Crider Rd.), east on Crider Rd. to Koogle Rd., and then south on Koogle Rd. to the US 30 westbound on ramp. Daily/nightly lane closures will tentatively begin Monday, August 12 for pavement repairs. Lane widths will be reduced to 11' in each direction during the duration of the project. The project is expected to be complete August 2020.
US Route 30: Bridge Repairs ***UPDATE***
US 30, at the Reed Road overpass bridge, will have single lane closures for a bridge repair project. The entrance ramp from Reed Rd. to US 30 westbound and the US 30 exit ramp to Reed Rd. are now open. The ramps were previously closed for structure repairs to the Reed Rd. bridge over US 30.The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
US Route 42
US 42, from Grace St. in the City of Mansfield to Baney Rd. in the City of Ashland, will have intermittent lane closures for a resurfacing project. Crews will perform night work as needed from Crider Rd. to Stewart Rd. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.

WAYNE COUNTY
State Route 301
SR 301, from Massie Road to Ruff Road, will have intermittent single lane closures for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.

State Route 604
SR 604, west of SR 94 (Mt. Eaton Rd.), is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 604 to SR 57, south on SR 57 to SR 585, north on SR 585 to SR 604, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Sunday, October 20, 2019.​
