Mobilised servicemen learn tactics in settlements within training in Volgograd region

Mobilised personnel within partial mobilization and undergoing training at one of the training centres of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation stationed in Volgograd region mastered the tactics of combat operations in settlements.

According to the plan of the exercise, a settlement consisting of 10 residential buildings and infrastructure facilities was captured by a sabotage unit of a mock enemy with a total number of more than 30 men.

The area was demined and secured, with the organisation of outposts, ambushes and additional firing points.

Simulated Im-100M mines and smoke-screening equipment were used to create a situation as close to a combat situation as possible when storming a mock enemy position.
