(Washington D.C.) - In a landmark move to address long standing challenges faced by military personnel and their families, a panel of House lawmakers, including Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC-01), has unveiled a comprehensive set of recommendations aimed at significantly enhancing the quality of life for service members. In a report released earlier this month, there are over 30 proposals the panel hopes to translate into law as the foundation of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2025.

"With only six military bases in all of South Carolina, and two in our district alone, ensuring the well-being of our servicemembers and their families is paramount. This 60-page report underscores a fundamental failure of the federal government: to adequately support those who risk everything for us. We look forward to authorizing the 2025 NDAA with each of these recommendations included."
