From the Chair, Immigration and Nationality Law Committee, April 2021

Dear members,

I'd like to thank both Anne and Catherine for their two years of leadership. 2019 was a trying year, but we did make the best of it, and our cherry on top was the Presidential Task Force project which we realised in Seoul. 2020 was the year of the global pandemic and we made the best of it by organising virtual events in lieu of in-person ones.

I welcome the new officers, some of whom are close friends and others are so becoming.

My role as the Chair will be that of supporting you. I hope that our future interactions as fellow officers and members of the Immigration and Nationality Law Committee will be a source of professional development and wellbeing.

I am thankful to all the other past Chairs who put me on the track which led to this appointment. Thank you Enrique, Graem, Gunther and Jelle.

As the pandemic continues, we are planning on doing more webinars than ever before. Input from all members of our Committee on topics for future webinars and articles for publication in our e-bulletins are most welcome.
