Virtual Nature Matters: Coastal Stream Habitat

This month's speaker, Conrad Gowell, will share his knowledge on Pacific Northwest Coastal Stream Habitats. Conrad will talk about how current and historic baselines of coastal stream environments have shifted and focus on stories showcasing the interconnectedness of stream habitats. The talk will center ideas that can contribute to the recovery of stream health with attention towards the active role humans can play in better managing aquatic resources.

Nature Matters, a lively conversation about the intersection of nature and culture, takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month from October through May. Nature Matters is hosted by Lewis and Clark National Historical Park in partnership with the North Coast Watershed Association, the Lewis & Clark National Park Association, and the Fort George Brewery + Public House.
