Setting the foundation for digital innovation in Oman, Ooredoo has joined forces with Huawei to offer B2B customers smart innovative solutions powered by Cloud Campus focusing on retail, education, hospitality and healthcare sectors. Some of these solutions include Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) and asset management. The latest in Internet of Things (IoT) technology, ESL allows store owners to show real-time product prices on digital wireless display systems, helping retailers to significantly reduce operational costs, improve pricing accuracy, enable dynamic pricing, and improve overall operational efficiency. The agreement was signed during COMEX 2022 and is part of a long-term strategic partnership that is helping Ooredoo expand its range of ICT solutions.

ESL and asset management solutions, unlike traditional manual stocktaking, provide access to a server that graphically displays the asset location result, implements efficient automatic asset stocktaking, and traces and locates assets in real time.

Ooredoo's Chief Business and Wholesale Officer, Sultan Ahmed Al-Wahaibi, said, "Our latest agreement with Huawei is the next step in our efforts to provide our customers with access to market-leading technologies.
