Help Improve Our Formula Approval Tool: Volunteer for User Experience Testing!

We invite you to participate in user experience (UX) testing to help us improve an online tool designed to answer the question: Do I need TTB formula approval for my distilled spirits product?

• What would I do? You will spend 30 - 45 minutes at your computer using a prototype of the new online tool to answer a series of questions. Your answers will determine whether you need a formula approval for your product (real or fictitious). A UX facilitator will ask you to talk through what you see on the screen and your thought process for your selections. Your input on what works well and what should be improved will help us make improvements before we launch the new tool later this year.
• Who should participate? Anyone who files (or soon plans to file) distilled spirits formula applications. We are interested in getting feedback from both domestic producers and importers with a wide range of filing experience levels.
• How do I volunteer? If you are interested in volunteering, please send an email by June 15 to [email protected] with the following information:
  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Business type (domestic producer or importer)
  • Approximate number of distilled spirits formulas that you have filed with TTB

We will begin contacting volunteers in early June to schedule the UX sessions. Thank you in advance!
