City Showcases New Garbage Truck During National Public Works Week

Join the City of Cape Coral as we celebrate National Public Works Week and present our new City garbage truck.

The event will be held at 2:30 p.m. on May 16, 2022, in front of the Public Works Building, located at 815 Nicholas Parkway East.

The Mayor, John Gunter, and Solid Waste Manager, Terry Schweitzer, will be available to speak about how the garbage truck will enhance the level of service provided to residents.

The event will include a proclamation recognizing National Public Works Week and celebrating the hard work done by Cape Coral's Public Works employees.

This year's National Public Works Week theme is "Ready & Resilient," highlighting employees who are ready to serve their communities and are resilient in their ability to endure challenges.
