JEFFERSON CITY, MO, March 29, 2024 - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold a series of in-person and virtual meetings to share information on the Inflation Reduction Act Home Energy Rebates Programs and to provide opportunities for public comment.

The federal Inflation Reduction Act authorizes formula-based funding for states to offer rebates for home energy efficiency and electrification projects. The department will submit applications to receive $75.8 million for Home Efficiency Rebates and $75.3 million for Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates under the federal act. The department will then offer rebates through related state programs.
