PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF AN ADDITIONAL 22.8% INTEREST IN SAHAM ASSURANCE S.A. ("SAHAM
ASSURANCE MAROC")

Shareholders are referred to the announcement on 3 May 2021 regarding the proposed acquisition
by SAN JV (RF) Proprietary Limited ("SAN JV") of an additional 22.8% shareholding in SAHAM
Assurance Maroc ("the Transaction").

Shareholders are hereby advised that the conditions precedent to the Transaction were not fulfilled
and the Transaction has, accordingly, lapsed. SAN JV's shareholding in SAHAM Assurance Maroc
remains at 61.7%.
