Russian peacekeepers at observation posts provide round-the-clock control of the situation and the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh

Russian peacekeepers provide round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire at twenty-seven observation posts located in the Lachin corridor and along the entire contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh.

All observation posts for monitoring the current situation are equipped with modern outdoor video surveillance dome cameras.

In the course of their service, Russian military personnel of the peacekeeping contingent are equipped in Ratnik suits. Observation posts are equipped with modern LED floodlights and uninterruptible power supplies.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 (Moscow time) on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.

In order to coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
