Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangement of Certain Officers.
On June 24, 2022, Boston Omaha Corporation (the "Company") promoted J. Max Meisinger, its Corporate Controller, to the position of Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Meisinger, age 33, joined Boston Omaha Corporation in May 2019, initially as Corporate Controller. From August 2011 through May 2019, Mr. Meisinger was employed by KPMG LLP, most recently as a Senior Manager of KPMG Kansas City's Audit Practice serving a variety of clients ranging from large public Fortune 500 companies to small start-up companies in various industries. Mr. Meisinger is a licensed certified public accountant. He received both his B.S. in Accounting and a Masters of Accounting from the University of Kansas.
Joshua P. Weisenburger, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, will continue to serve in that role, as well as Secretary and Treasurer of the Company. Mr. Weisenburger previously served as the Company's Chief Accounting Officer. The appointment of Mr. Meisinger as the Company's Chief Accounting Officer will allow Mr. Weisenburger to devote more time to the Company's strategic initiatives, acquisitions, financing and other activities.
