Office yoga session at the SCO Secretariat

On 10 May 2022, the Embassy of India in China organised a special office yoga session at the SCO Secretariat building, with the Secretariat's support.

SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming spoke at the event and noted that the SCO member states were guided by the philosophy of the Shanghai Spirit, and that they worked together closely for the sake of strengthening historical, cultural and civilisational bonds.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador of India to China Shri Pradeep Kumar Rawat noted that the SCO was a unique organisation bringing together nations with different ethnic groups, religions and languages.

Under the event's concept, participants wearing office attire performed yoga exercises while sitting in chairs.

In September 2022, Uzbekistan will pass the SCO Presidency to India at a meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council meeting in Samarkand.
