New board members of AF Gruppen

Hilde Kristin Herud and Erik Veiby were elected as new board members of AF Gruppen ASA at the annual general meeting on 13 May.

Elections of three employee representatives was also carried out on 6 April 2022 where Espen Jahr (new), Arne Sveen and Hilde Wikesland Flaen (re-elected) were elected.

Following this, the board of AF Gruppen comprises Pål Egil Rønn (chairman), Arne Baumann, Hege Bømark, Saloume Djoudat, Hilde Kristin Herud, Kristian Holth, Erik Veiby, Arne Sveen, Espen Jahr and Hilde Wikesland Flaen (the latter three are employee-elected representatives).

Hilde Kristin Herud (49) has experience as commercial director and CEO of Norgips. Herud has extensive experience as a line and senior manager in an industry related to AF Gruppen's business. She has previously held leading positions in advertising and the publishing industry, as well as from a special interest organisation. Herud holds a Master's degree. She is presently completing the "Executive Board Program" at INSEAD.

Erik Veiby (58) is currently working chairman of Nordic Concrete Group and general manager of Kongsvinger Betong. He has previously been general manager of Betong Øst and held different positions in Kongsvinger Betongindustri. Over the past 30 years Veiby has developed extensive operations in contracting and real estate. He has broad board experience from companies where he also has ownership interests. Via family-owned companies he has been a major shareholder in AF Gruppen.

Espen Jahr (49). Employee representativ. Head of HSE with AF Decom. Jahr played a part in establishing and has headed AF Gruppen's internal occupational health service for 14 years. As head of the occupational health service, he has acquired good knowledge of what is important for the employees and knows the various units well. Jahr has experience as HSE manager on projects. He has former experience as an occupational nurse at the Institute for Occupational Health Services/Occupational Health Norway. He holds a Master's degree in Health/Management.
