City and County of Broomfield Announces Next Deputy City and County Manager

After a competitive search, and with input from residents and employees, the City and County of Broomfield has selected Don Davis for the Deputy City and County Manager position.

"As we move into the future, I'm eager to add Don's experience, approach, and unique skill sets to the leadership team in place today as we work in partnership with the City Council and community to set Broomfield up for a future of success" said City and County Manager, Jennifer Hoffman.

Don Davis is most recently serving as the Jefferson County Manager in Golden, Colorado. Don starting his career as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, Davis has served the country in many different roles, locations, and commands. From numerous deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan to command of the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA, to Chief of NORAD-NORTHCOM Theater Strategy and Campaign Plans Division in Colorado Springs.

Davis said he and his wife Becky, of 32 years and four children, are eager to continue their journey in Broomfield.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to join the CCOB Team in their endeavor to serve the residents of Broomfield. It was an intense hiring process. I appreciated the opportunity to engage with many on the department head leadership team; it was a distinct pleasure to meet such a cohesive and professional team, and discuss the future vision. I look forward to serving alongside the outstanding leadership of Jennifer Hoffman and Abby Yellman, the Mayor, City Council, and the entire team."

Davis will start in Broomfield on July 11, 2022.
