Erie County: Construction update
ERIE COUNTY- (Thursday, May 2, 2024) -The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Erie County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting and is subject to change.
State Route 13 bridge repairs - State Route 13, at the structure over the Ohio Turnpike - between Horn Road and Hoover Road - is closed for 180 days for a bridge repair project as part of the Ohio Turnpike Commission Project. The detour route will be U.S. 250/SR 13 north to SR 2 east to SR 13, and reverse. Estimated completion: Monday, October 7, 2024State Route 60 median improvements - State Route 60 under SR 2, between Holiday Drive and Kneisel Road, will have single lane closures for a media improvement project. Crews will replace the existing, poor condition guardrail with concrete median barrier. The existing traffic island will also be replaced with pavement and channelizing lines. Estimated completion: June 2024State Route 99 bridge repairs - State Route 99, between the Harris Road intersections under the Ohio Turnpike, is closed for 180 days for a bridge repair project as part of the Ohio Turnpike Commission Project. The detour will be SR 99 north to SR 113 west to SR 4 north to SR 99, and reverse.
