Owen amassed 442 kills --fifth most in a season in team history-- and 206 digs in 100 sets for the Golden Bears. Both totals were new single-season benchmarks for the Hatboro native and she also established new career-bests in per set averages with 4.42 kills and 2.06 digs.
Owen, who tied a school single-match record with 30 kills at Slippery Rock, Sept. 27, later recorded a program-record 82 attack attempts (24 kills) against eventual PSAC Central Division winner East Stroudsburg, Nov. 12.
The three-year starter ranked second in the PSAC in kills per set and third in total kills. Owen is also among the nation's best in attacks per set (12.55, fifth), kills per set (sixth), total attacks (1,280, 18th), total kills (22nd) and points per set (4.64, 22nd).
Owen will enter her senior season three kills shy of becoming the ninth player in program history with 1,000 in a career. She's averaging 3.36 kills per set for her career and has also totaled 363 career digs and 124 blocks.
