Abazović meets with Minister of Justice of the Republic of North Macedonia

Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia share common values and are making efforts to advance the rule of law and fight against corruption, it was said after the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Minister of Justice of the Republic of North Macedonia Bojan Marichikj.

Abazović emphasised that Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia are examples to the region that changes are possible.

The Deputy Prime Minister praised the example of the Republic of North Macedonia, which in a couple of years after the change of government, convicted a large number of high-ranking officials for corruption scandals.

Minister of Justice Marichikj encouraged Montenegro to achieve results and progress in the area of rule of law.

Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to Montenegro Mihajlo Trpkoski, DPM's Legal Adviser Ivo Šoć, and Associate in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister Milana Tomić also attended the meeting.
