Low Flying Helicopter Work Next Week Near I-80 EB in Scott Township, Columbia County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised of utility work that will be performed next week near Interstate 80 eastbound between mile markers 236 and 238, just west of the Route 487 interchange (Lightstreet) in Scott Township, Columbia County.

On Thursday, May 9, 2024, a contractor for PPL will be flying utility lines near the Interstate 80 eastbound lanes between the Lions Gate Apartments and Statewide Furniture. Motorists may see a low flying helicopter in the area. There will be no impacts to traffic. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution.
